MANAGE YOUR TEAM

§ ROLES + TEAM3 min READUPDATED 2026-08

The Team screen for admins — members, role changes, pending invites, seats, and the guards that keep you out of trouble.

The Team screen is the roster of everyone in your company: active members, their roles, and every invitation still in flight. It is also where seats are managed, so headcount and billing stay in step automatically.

WHERE: Masthead ⚙ gear → Admin Console → ORGANIZATION → Team

§The member table

A seats summary sits at the top; below it, the member table lists every user with role assignment inline. Changing someone's role takes effect from the table — their tab set and permissions follow the new role.

§Invitations

  1. 01Send an invite with an email address and a role.
  2. 02The teammate receives a branded invitation email.
  3. 03Until it is accepted, the invite sits in the pending list where you can resend or revoke it.
  4. 04On acceptance, the person moves into the member table.

§Seats, limits, and billing

Your plan carries a seat cap. ORGANIZATION → Billing & usage shows the cap against your current user count, plus tier, status, next billing date, and add-ons, with a MANAGE BILLING hand-off to the Stripe billing portal. Removing a user syncs your Stripe seat count, so the subscription adjusts without a support ticket. Beyond seats, the USER LIMITS entry in the company settings hub sets finer caps — maximum users, and how many customers and invoices can be created per month.

HEADS UP
The last-admin guard prevents removing or demoting your only admin. If it blocks you, promote someone else to admin first — the guard exists so a company can never lock itself out of its own console.
TIP
Sweep the pending-invites list occasionally. Revoking a stale invite to someone who never joined keeps your roster honest, and resending is one click if they resurface.
