The commissions ledger inside the customer FINANCIALS tab — calculate entries, view your own, and approve.
Commission work does not only happen in the Admin Console — every customer carries a commissions ledger right where the job’s money lives. That means you can calculate and review commissions with the invoices, payments, and expenses they are computed from on the same screen.
§The ledger
The COMMISSIONS section of the FINANCIALS tab supports three things:
- ◆Calculate — compute or refresh the commission entries for this customer from the current numbers.
- ◆View my entry — a rep checks their own line for this job.
- ◆Approve — an admin signs off an entry right from the ledger; approved rows head to payouts.
§Calculate on real numbers
The math runs contract → expenses → overhead → gross → net → rate → amount, and it starts from this very tab. Before calculating, make sure the EXPENSES section is current and change orders are recorded — a missing cost inflates the commission, and a missing change order understates it.
Entries approved here join the same flow as the Admin Console: they appear with their full breakdown in FINANCIAL → Commission queue and are batched to payment in FINANCIAL → Commission payouts. Once a row is paid it is immutable — later corrections become adjustments on a future payout.
