THE FINANCIALS TAB

A tour of the deepest customer tab — stat tiles, the NEEDS ATTENTION banner, quick actions, and the six money sections.

The FINANCIALS tab is the deepest tab on a customer: one screen holding the entire money picture for the account, from lifetime value down to individual refunds. If you only learn one financial screen in Revolve Core, make it this one.

WHERE: CUSTOMERS → open a customer → FINANCIALS tab

§Stat tiles

The top row answers the big questions at a glance: LTV, Contract, Collected, and Balance. A secondary row goes deeper: profit margin, net profit, credit, overdue, and refunded amounts.

When something needs a human — margin running low, an invoice overdue — a NEEDS ATTENTION banner appears above the tiles so problems surface without hunting.

§Quick actions

Every quick action opens an in-place modal, so you never leave the tab:

ActionWhat it does
+ RECORD PAYMENTLog a payment received against this customer.
+ ADD EXPENSERecord a job cost — materials, labor, subs.
↥ EXTERNAL INVOICEBring in an invoice billed outside Revolve Core.
↩ REFUND CREDITIssue a refund or an account credit.
✓ APPLY CREDITApply an existing credit to an open balance.
§ LIEN WAIVERGenerate a lien waiver.
± CHANGE ORDERRecord a scope change against the job.
◆ AIA G702/G703Produce AIA progress-billing forms.

§The six sections

  • INVOICES — every invoice with ALL / DRAFT / SENT / PAID / OVERDUE filters.
  • PAYMENTS — the full payment history for the account.
  • EXPENSES — job costs, feeding the margin and net-profit tiles.
  • CHANGE ORDERS — every recorded scope change.
  • COMMISSIONS — the commissions ledger: calculate, view my entry, approve.
  • REFUNDS — refunds issued, matching the refunded stat tile.

§Multi-job customers

On customers with more than one job, the job picker at the top scopes the tab to a single job or ALL JOBS, so the tiles and sections reflect exactly the work you are looking at rather than a blended total.
