Configure AI outreach that sources prospects and drafts messages under guardrails — a daily volume cap and draft-first approval.
Outreach agents put prospecting on rails. Rev sources prospects and drafts outreach for them, while you hold the guardrails: how much goes out per day, and whether anything sends without a person approving it first. Out of the box, the answer to that second question is no.
§What an outreach agent does
An outreach agent works from sourced prospects — new potential customers it finds for you — and drafts the outreach messages to reach them. Your job shifts from writing cold emails to reviewing them.
§Guardrails
- ◆Daily volume cap — a hard ceiling on how much outreach can go out per day.
- ◆Approval mode — defaults to
DRAFT, meaning every message waits for a person to approve it before it sends.
§Where the outreach flows
Outreach lives alongside the MARKETING tab, where the GROWTH ENGINE walks a six-step lead engine — research, segments, prospects, contacts, emails, approve — and the CAMPAIGNS tab is the approval queue, with lanes for AWAITING APPROVAL, APPROVED · QUEUED, SENT, and REPLIED. Nothing sends without explicit human approval.
MARKETING tab is web-only and visible to owners, admins, operators, managers, and office staff — field reps do not see it.§Sending compliance
Automated outreach follows the same compliance rules as the rest of your marketing email: one-click unsubscribe on every message, your physical address included, a permanent suppression list for anyone who opts out, and sending only from your own verified email domain. Cold text messages are never sent.
