APPROVE CAMPAIGNS BEFORE THEY SEND

§ MARKETING3 min READUPDATED 2026-08

How the CAMPAIGNS approval queue works and why nothing ever sends without explicit human approval.

Every outbound marketing email passes through the CAMPAIGNS sub-tab, and the rule is absolute: nothing sends without explicit human approval. Rev drafts; a person approves. That keeps your company name on messages a human has actually read.

WHERE: Masthead → MARKETING → CAMPAIGNS

§The four statuses

StatusMeaning
AWAITING APPROVALDrafted and waiting for a human decision. Nothing here has been sent.
APPROVED · QUEUEDYou approved it; it is queued to go out.
SENTDelivered to the prospect.
REPLIEDThe prospect wrote back.

§Working the queue

  1. 01Open CAMPAIGNS and start with AWAITING APPROVAL.
  2. 02Read each draft as the prospect will read it — these are per-lead personalized emails from the growth engine, so review them individually.
  3. 03Approve the ones you stand behind. Approved items move to APPROVED · QUEUED and send from there.
  4. 04Check back on SENT and REPLIED to see what is landing. Replies are your cue to take the conversation personal.

Replies also advance the OVERVIEW funnel’s REPLIED stage, so queue results and the dashboard always agree.

NOTE
There is no bulk "send everything" bypass. The approval step is the design, not a speed bump — if the queue feels long, tighten your segments in the growth engine rather than approving on autopilot.
TIP
Set a rhythm: clear AWAITING APPROVAL at the same time each day. Drafts age poorly, and a prospect researched this week deserves an email sent this week.
