The guardrails on every marketing send: unsubscribe, physical address, suppression list, and own-domain-only email.
Outreach only works if it is welcome, lawful, and deliverable — and the SETTINGS sub-tab is where those guardrails live. Marketing enforces them on every send, so a rushed campaign cannot put your domain reputation or your compliance posture at risk.
WHERE: Masthead → MARKETING → SETTINGS
§The guardrails
- ◆One-click unsubscribe — every marketing email lets the recipient opt out in a single click.
- ◆Physical address — your business address rides along on outbound marketing email, as the law expects.
- ◆Permanent suppression list — anyone who unsubscribes is suppressed permanently. Future campaigns skip them automatically; there is no re-adding someone who opted out.
- ◆Own-domain-only sending — marketing email goes out only from your own verified sending domain.
- ◆No cold SMS, ever — outreach is email only. The system will not cold-text prospects.
§Verify your sending domain first
Because marketing sends only from your own verified domain, domain verification is a prerequisite, not a nice-to-have. Set it up in Admin Console → COMMUNICATION → Email sending domain: the screen shows the DNS records to add, a VERIFY button, From-name and Reply-To fields, and a test-email send.
◆ NOTE
The suppression list is permanent by design. If a customer says "stop emailing me" in person, honor it here too — compliance settings are only as good as the humans behind them.
