Company-wide chat with DMs, reactions, and message types — plus the To-Do hub, the one list of every task assigned to or created by you.
Alongside the per-customer threads, Revolve Core carries two team surfaces that are not tied to any one customer: Team Chat, the company-wide conversation with a shared channel and direct messages, and the To-Do hub, a single cross-customer list of every task assigned to or created by you.
HOME, ☐ TASKS, ✦ ASSISTANT — hops you back out without retracing your steps.§Team Chat: the channel and DMs
Team Chat holds one company-wide TEAM channel that everyone is in, plus per-person direct message threads. Start a private thread with + NEW DM in the header, which also carries a REFRESH control; on your phone, a thread picker dropdown switches between the channel and your DMs.
The TEAM channel is the place for "who is near the supply house?" and everything else that does not belong on a customer record. When a discussion is about a specific customer, use that customer's TEAM · INTERNAL thread instead so the context stays attached to the job.
§Inside a conversation
- ◆Messages arrive in realtime, and typing indicators show when a teammate is mid-reply.
- ◆Read receipts appear as reader avatars under your messages, so you know who has seen what.
- ◆Long-press a message to react —

§Message types
Messages in the TEAM channel can carry a type chip that tells the room how to read them before anyone reads them: GENERAL, URGENT, TASK, UPDATE, APPOINTMENT, or ANNOUNCEMENT. A tagged URGENT stands out in a busy channel the way a plain message never will.
§Chat notifications
Team Chat has its own notification entry in the company settings hub — TEAM CHAT NOTIFS — controlling whether people are alerted for @mentions only or for every message, and whether push notifications fire. If the channel feels noisy, this is the dial to turn before people start muting the app.
§The To-Do hub
The To-Do hub is headed "Everything assigned to or created by you" — and that is exactly what it is: a cross-customer view of the same tasks that appear on each customer's TASKS tab. This is not a second task system; complete an item in either place and it is done in both.
Each row shows the task title, assignees, priority, due date, an ↻ recurring marker, and status. ✓ toggles a task complete right from the list.
§Filters and bulk actions
Filter chips cut the list down: OPEN, IN PROGRESS, COMPLETED, URGENT, HIGH, RECURRING, and OVERDUE. Select multiple tasks for bulk actions: export the selection to CSV, or CHANGE TODO STATUS to set them all to PENDING, IN PROGRESS, COMPLETED, or CANCELLED in one move.
§Recurring tasks
The To-Do editor covers the usual fields — description, priority, due date, multi-user assignment — and adds one that exists nowhere else in the app: RECURRENCE. Set a task to repeat DAILY, WEEKLY, BI-WEEKLY, or MONTHLY, with an interval and an optional end date.
TASKS tab shows the same tasks but has no recurrence controls — so build repeating routines, like Monday material checks or a weekly follow-up sweep, from this screen.§Choosing the right channel
