You should never have to remember where a record lives. SEARCH EVERYTHING is one search box that reaches across your whole company — customers, invoices, estimates, work orders, and contracts — and opens the right screen for whatever you pick. Pair it with the keyboard shortcuts and you can move through the web app without touching the mouse.
§What search covers
Type at least two characters and results appear as you type, grouped by record type:

Type chips — ALL / CUSTOMERS / INVOICES / WORK ORDERS / CONTRACTS / ESTIMATES — narrow the results to one record type. Below the box, RECENT SEARCHES keeps your last five queries for one-tap reuse, with a CLEAR to wipe them.
Selecting a result opens the matching record. Two result types are opinionated about where they land: an estimate opens in presentation mode, ready to show, and a contract opens on its audit trail.
