Create a new customer, add extra contacts, and keep the header details current.
Every job, photo, invoice, and message in Revolve Core hangs off a customer record, so creating the customer is step one for any new piece of work. Creation takes a few seconds; the header tools then let you round out the record as you learn more.
§Create the record
- 01Open the
CUSTOMERStab and choose+ NEWfrom the masthead. - 02Enter the customer’s details and save.
- 03The new customer opens in the full workspace, ready for photos, estimates, and scheduling.
§Contacts
The header above the tab strip shows the customer’s contact as a hero chip. Tap the ✎ edit control on a chip to correct details, and use ADD CONTACT to attach additional people — a spouse, a property manager, a second decision-maker. Keeping every contact on the record means calls, texts, and emails from the workspace reach the right person.
§The header stat tiles
Under the contact chips sit stat tiles for TYPE, STATUS, LOSS, SOURCE, and SINCE. They give anyone opening the record an at-a-glance profile of who this customer is and where they came from. Use the ✎ edit customer control in the header to update these details as the relationship evolves.
§More than one project
One customer can carry multiple jobs — a roof this year, siding next year. Use ⚡ ACTIONS → + ADD JOB rather than creating a duplicate customer. See "Jobs on a customer" in this category for how job scoping works.
KNOCKER map, the LOG KNOCK button records a name, address, and interest level with GPS auto-fill, and those prospects live in the LEADS list until they become customers.SOURCE at creation time while you still remember where the customer came from — it is the field teams most often leave blank and most often wish they had later.
