OVERVIEW WIDGETS

§ CUSTOMERS + TRIAGE5 min READUPDATED 2026-08

Build a per-customer dashboard from ~25 widgets, save layouts as templates, and read the AI banners.

The OVERVIEW tab is a widget dashboard: a grid of cards you can rearrange, resize, and swap so the first screen you see on a customer shows exactly what your role cares about. A production manager, an accountant, and a salesperson can each look at the same customer and see a different — correct — first page.

WHERE: CUSTOMERS → open a customer → OVERVIEW tab

§What is there by default

Out of the box the dashboard shows Insurance Claim, Commercial Property, Active Job, Pocket Assistant, Recent Activity, and On This Job. The Active Job widget also hosts the ✎ STAGES editor for customizing this customer’s job stages.

§Edit the layout

  1. 01Choose ✎ EDIT LAYOUT to enter edit mode.
  2. 02Drag widgets to rearrange them and resize them on the 12-column grid.
  3. 03Open the widget picker to add or remove cards.
  4. 04Save when you are done — your layout is remembered per user, so your arrangement does not overwrite anyone else’s.

Layout presets give you starting points, and save-as-template turns a layout you like into a reusable template.

§Company default layouts

Admins can set a company default layout — the arrangement that seeds the Overview for everyone on the team, so new users start from something sensible instead of a blank grid. Personal edits override the default: once you customize your own layout, your version wins, and rearranging your dashboard never changes anyone else’s.

§The widget picker

Beyond the defaults, the picker offers roughly 25 more widgets, including Customer KPIs, Triage Snapshot, Outstanding Balance, Upcoming Appointments, Recent Messages, Latest Photos, Quick Photo Capture, Job Progress, Crew On Site, Recent Payments, quick-action cards for Note / Todo / Call / Directions, a Days-In-Stage timer, and AI Insights.

§The AI banners

Two AI banners sit above the grid. Pending Questions queues questions the AI wants answered about this customer — confirm, edit, or dismiss each one. Next Action proposes the single next best move — schedule an inspection, generate a report, proposal, or contract, remind a signer, collect a deposit or balance, or request a review — as a one-tap action.

NOTE
Your saved widget layouts are also managed under MY SETTINGS → Dashboards.
TIP
Put Outstanding Balance and Days-In-Stage in your top row: together they answer "is this job moving and is it paid?" before you scroll.
