AI ESTIMATES

You rarely start an estimate with nothing — you have photos from the inspection, a voice note you recorded in the truck, or a scope already written up. ◆ REX AI turns those raw materials into a draft estimate so you start from 80% instead of a blank editor.

§Generate a draft

1. 01Open the ESTIMATES/INVOICES tab and tap ◆ REX AI.
2. 02Point it at what you have: job photos, voice notes, or a written scope.
3. 03Let it generate, then review the draft line by line — edit descriptions, quantities, and pricing like any other estimate.
4. 04Send it to your customer only when you are satisfied. Nothing goes out automatically.

The photo path is stronger than it sounds: photos on the PHOTOS tab feed ◆ AI SCOPE, which turns your documented damage into scope material — and that same material can drive the estimate.

§Other ways to get an AI estimate

• ◆ASSISTANT tab → AI ESTIMATE: the same drafting power from the AI hub, outside any one customer.
• ◆ASK REV on the customer: ask Rev to propose an estimate in plain language. The result comes back as a one-tap confirm card — nothing is created until you confirm — and after you do, ✓ Created — OPEN jumps you straight to it.

§Credits

AI features run on AI credits. When you are low, a banner and modal let you buy credit packs, and the USAGE tab on ASSISTANT shows where your spend is going. Admins can also bring their own AI key with a model choice and a monthly spend cap under Integrations.
