Use ▶ PRESENT to walk a customer through a full-screen slide deck — and take their signature right on the device.
Estimates close better when you walk the customer through them. ▶ PRESENT opens the estimate as a full-screen, customer-facing slide deck — built for sitting side by side at the kitchen table or handing over a tablet, instead of squinting at the editing screen together. If the customer is ready, they can sign on the final slide and you walk out with an accepted estimate.
§The slide deck
Presentation mode turns the estimate into a fixed sequence of slides, so every presentation follows the same arc — who it is for, what the work is, what it costs, what the terms are, and where to sign. Finish the estimate first; 👁 PREVIEW is your rehearsal for how everything reads.
| Slide | What is on it |
|---|---|
| Cover | Your logo, PREPARED FOR with the customer, the estimate number and date, VALID UNTIL, and the current status. |
| Sections | One slide per section, with its line items and a SECTION SUBTOTAL. A non-sectioned estimate gets a single SCOPE OF WORK slide instead. |
TOTALS | The project total, broken into SUBTOTAL, DISCOUNT, and TAX. |
TERMS | Payment terms, timeline, warranty, and the valid-until date. |
SIGNATURE | Where the customer signs on the device. |

§Signing on the device
When the customer is ready, hand the device over and let them sign on the SIGNATURE slide. The estimate flips to accepted on the spot, and a success screen offers to convert it to an invoice then and there — take it, and the invoice exists before you reach the truck. Either way, you land back on the ESTIMATES tab when you are done.
§If they want to think about it
If they are not ready in the room, the portal handles acceptance later: they open the estimate, see the full line items and total, and Accept & sign by typing their name in a script face or drawing a signature. 📤 RESEND puts the estimate back in their inbox so the version they saw in person is the version they act on. A decline requires a reason, so a "no" still tells you something.
However the signature lands — on your device or in the portal — the deposit and contract chain starts automatically: a deposit invoice drafts itself and contract generation is one tap away. See "Estimate to invoice to contract" in this category.
⌘K) also lands in presentation mode — handy when a customer calls about a number and you want the clean view in front of you fast.✕ EXIT PRESENTER and ✎ EDIT let you adjust and re-present the real number on the spot.
