SEND A STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT

§ INVOICING + PAYMENTS3 min READUPDATED 2026-08

Generate one statement covering every open invoice on a customer’s account, for month-end and multi-invoice balances.

When a customer has several open invoices — a deposit, a progress bill, a change order — forwarding each one separately invites confusion. A statement of account puts every outstanding balance in a single document, so the conversation is about one number instead of four PDFs.

WHERE: CUSTOMERS → open a customer → ESTIMATES/INVOICES tab

§Generate the statement

  1. 01Open the ESTIMATES/INVOICES tab.
  2. 02Tap 🧾 STATEMENT.
  3. 03Revolve Core prints a statement of account covering all open invoices — one document you can save, print, or hand to the customer.

§When a statement earns its keep

  • Multiple open invoices on one account — the statement replaces a stack of attachments with one total.
  • Month-end reconciliation — a clean summary for the customer’s bookkeeper or insurance adjuster.
  • Balance disputes — one document showing exactly what remains open ends the "which invoice was that?" back-and-forth.

To decide who needs a statement, lean on the OVERDUE filter chip in this workspace and the A/R and Overdue figures on the MONEY tab. Routine nudges are better left to the automated payment follow-ups in the Automation hub — save statements for accounts where the balance spans several invoices.

NOTE
The statement covers open invoices only. Paid history lives in the PAYMENTS section of the FINANCIALS tab and in the MONEY hub’s drill-down reports.
