Use category chips, stage chips, favorites, and job scope to keep a big photo gallery navigable.
A busy job can generate hundreds of photos. The gallery on the PHOTOS tab gives you four ways to slice them — by category, by stage of the job, by favorites, and by job — so the photo you need is a couple of taps away instead of a scroll through everything.
§Filter by category
Category chips across the top of the gallery filter photos by their photo type. The categories come from your company’s photo taxonomy, which admins manage in the Admin Console under CUSTOMIZATION → Photo types.
§Filter by stage
Stage chips split the gallery by where each photo sits in the life of the job:

Stages matter beyond filtering — the earliest-vs-latest COMPARE view and photo PDF reports read much better when photos carry accurate stages.
§Favorites and job scope
- ◆A favorites-only filter narrows the gallery to the photos you’ve starred — useful for keeping the handful of shots you show customers separate from the full documentation set.
- ◆A job-scope filter limits the gallery to a single job. On customers with multiple jobs, the job picker and job scope banner control which job you’re looking at.
- ◆Photos can be assigned to a job, so a photo that landed on the wrong job — or on no job — can be filed where it belongs.
§Fix a photo’s tags
Open any photo to reach its detail view, where you can edit its notes, type, and stage. If a batch went up untagged, step through it with the next/previous controls and correct each photo without leaving the viewer.
