Get contracts, scopes, and paperwork onto a customer — by upload, drag-and-drop on web, or camera scan — and keep them organized with categories, tags, and expiry.
The DOCUMENTS tab is the customer’s file cabinet: contracts, insurance scopes, permits, estimates, and any other paperwork the job produces. Everything lands in one searchable, sortable grid, so nobody has to hunt through email attachments to find the signed contract.
§Upload files
Use + UPLOAD to add files from your device. On the web app you can also drag files from your desktop and drop them straight onto the tab.
+ UPLOAD or the camera scan.§Scan paper with your camera
For physical paperwork — a signed permit, a carrier letter, a supplier receipt — 📷 SCAN uses your camera to capture the document directly into the customer’s files. No separate scanner app, no emailing yourself a photo.
§Keep documents organized
- ◆Every document carries a category, and you can recategorize files that were filed wrong.
- ◆Tags on each row add a second layer of organization on top of categories.
- ◆The grid is searchable and sortable, so a specific file is a keystroke away even on a document-heavy job.
§Expiry, versions, and signed status
Document rows carry live status information so problems surface before they bite:
| Marker | What it tells you |
|---|---|
EXPIRING | The document has an expiry date that is approaching |
| Version links | Newer and older versions of the same document are linked together |
SIGNED | The document has been signed |
§Documents your customer uploads
Customers can upload files from their portal too — PDFs, Office documents, and images up to 25 MB. Anything they send appears on your side flagged as shared, and on their side with an “Uploaded by you” badge, so both of you always know which files came from where.
📷 SCAN is filed, categorized, and findable; one left in the truck is a problem for future you.
