Push, email and in-app alerts are decided in three places — the phone, the person, and the company. Check them in that order.
A notification has to clear three gates before it reaches you: the phone allows the app to notify, your personal preferences allow that event on that channel, and the company has not switched the event off. Check them in that order.
§1 · The phone
- 01iPhone:
Settings → Notifications → Revolve Core— Allow Notifications on, and Lock Screen / Banners ticked. - 02Android:
Settings → Apps → Revolve Core → Notificationson, and battery optimisation set to unrestricted so the phone does not sleep the app. - 03Sign out and back in once after changing permissions so the phone re-registers for push.
§2 · The person
Open Avatar chip → MY SETTINGS → Notifications. The grid lists every event with a tick per channel (push, email, in-app, SMS where the phone add-on is live). A missing tick is the usual answer. The "Notifications" guide explains how a notification decides where to go.
§3 · The company
Owners and admins set company defaults and can switch an event off for everyone in Admin Console → Notifications. If nobody in the company gets a certain alert, look there first.
§Email alerts landing in spam
Add noreply@revolvecore.com to contacts, and if the company sends from its own domain, verify it — see "Email in spam or bouncing" in this category.
§Still stuck
- ◆Send support the event you expected (for example "estimate signed"), the channel, the phone model, and the time it should have fired.
