One hub for every reusable template your company sends, and where each specialized editor lives.
Templates keep your outbound work consistent: the same email wording, the same PDF layout, the same contract language every time. The Admin Console gathers them in one hub, with specialized editors for each kind.
The Templates screen is a unified hub across email, contract, PDF, and proposal templates. From here you can clone a template, edit it, preview it, and set it as the default for its type.
§Email templates
Every automatic email the app sends has a built-in template you can override per company. Open COMMUNICATION → Email templates and pick one to edit: the editor shows a merge-tag catalog in a sidebar so you can drop in customer, job, and company fields without guessing at their names. If an override goes wrong, REVERT restores the built-in version.
COMMUNICATION → Email branding, not from the individual templates.§PDF templates and the document header
The hub includes a PDF template editor for the paperwork the app generates. Pair it with the Document Header setting and the PDF Settings / PDF Branding / PDF Assets entries in the settings hub to control the letterhead side of things — logo placement, brand colors on paper, shared assets.
§Contract templates
Contract templates have a deeper home of their own: DOCUMENTS → Contracts hub. Its template library supports ✦ DRAFT WITH AI, a block builder for assembling contracts from reusable sections, and an upload-a-PDF builder that lets you place signature fields on an existing PDF. Individual templates can be excluded from e-sign for documents that legally cannot be signed electronically. Sending and signing are covered in the ESTIMATES + CONTRACTS category — see "Send for signature".
§Proposal templates
Proposals follow the same pattern under DOCUMENTS → Proposals hub: settings, templates with their own builder, feature flags, follow-up sequences, and win/loss analytics. Reps then start from a template with + NEW PROPOSAL on any customer — see "Proposals" in ESTIMATES + CONTRACTS.
