TRANSFER OWNERSHIP, DEACTIVATE OR DELETE YOUR COMPANY

The Danger Zone: hand the company to another member, deactivate the company (everyone is signed out), or ask support to delete it. Owner only.

Three company-wide actions live in the Danger Zone: transfer ownership, deactivate the company, and delete the company. Only the company owner can transfer or deactivate. An admin who opens the Danger Zone sees OWNER ONLY and the owner’s name instead of the forms, and the server refuses these changes from anyone but the owner as well.

WHERE: Masthead ⚙ gear → Admin Console → DANGER ZONE
◆ TIP
Before any of these, export your data: Admin Console → DATA & REPORTS → Import/export, or the EXPORT YOUR DATA button on the Danger Zone itself.

§Transfer ownership

Hands full ownership to another team member. The new owner gets every owner right, including this Danger Zone. You, the current owner, become an Admin. It takes effect immediately and is recorded in the activity log.

  1. 01Open Admin Console → DANGER ZONE as the owner.
  2. 02Under TRANSFER OWNERSHIP, tap the team member who should become the owner (a ✓ marks your choice).
  3. 03Type TRANSFER in the box TYPE "TRANSFER" TO CONFIRM.
  4. 04Tap TRANSFER OWNERSHIP.
◆ NOTE
The member list shows everyone on your team except you. If it says "No other members to transfer ownership to", invite the person first (Admin Console → Team), then come back.

§Deactivate the company

Deactivating turns off sign-in for every member of the company, including you. Nothing is deleted: customers, jobs, invoices, photos and documents are all kept, and RevolveCore support can reactivate the company later.

  1. 01Open Admin Console → DANGER ZONE as the owner.
  2. 02Under DEACTIVATE COMPANY, type the company name exactly as shown in TYPE "<company name>" TO CONFIRM — same spelling, spaces and capitals. The button stays greyed out ("Must match the company name exactly.") until it matches.
  3. 03Tap DEACTIVATE COMPANY. The screen shows COMPANY DEACTIVATED; every member is signed out and cannot sign back in.
◆ HEADS UP
Deactivation applies to the whole company at once — every rep, office user and admin loses access. Use it when you are closing or pausing the business, not to remove one person (remove a person from Admin Console → Team instead).

Behind the button, the app checks on the server that you are the owner and that the typed name matches, then deactivates the company and writes the audit-log entry in one step. If either check fails, nothing changes and you see "Deactivation failed".

§Reactivate a deactivated company

Email support@revolvecore.com from the owner’s email address and ask for the company to be reactivated. Support verifies ownership and turns sign-in back on; all your data is where you left it.

§Delete the company

Permanent deletion removes every customer, job, invoice, photo and record. There is no button for it in the app: it is a support request, so ownership can be verified and the deletion scheduled.

  1. 01Export your data first — deletion is final.
  2. 02Under DELETE COMPANY, tap EMAIL SUPPORT (or email support@revolvecore.com yourself) from an owner or admin account with the subject "Company deletion request".
  3. 03Support confirms ownership with you before anything is deleted.
