SET UP A CUSTOMER PORTAL

Every customer can have a private, password-less portal — a single link that opens a branded site showing their jobs, invoices, estimates, contracts, documents, photos, messages, and reports. There is no account to create and no password to reset; the link itself is the key. You control everything from the customer record.

§Generate the link

1. 01Open the customer and go to the PORTAL tab. If no portal exists yet, the screen explains how the password-less homeowner URL works.
2. 02Press + GENERATE PORTAL LINK.
3. 03The panel switches to the live control view with an ACTIVE / INACTIVE / EXPIRED status banner and a read-only CUSTOMER URL.

§Share it with the homeowner

• ◆COPY — copies the URL so you can paste it into a text or email.
• ◆OPEN AS CUSTOMER → — opens the portal exactly as the homeowner will see it, so you can check it before sending.
• ◆✉ EMAIL LINK — emails the link directly. This button is disabled with a warning when the customer has no email on file; add one from the customer header first.
• ◆You can also jump straight in from the header: ⚡ ACTIONS → OPEN PORTAL.

§Watch engagement

The PORTAL tab shows analytics tiles so you know whether the homeowner is actually using it: VISITS, LAST VISIT, LINK OPENS, MESSAGES, SHARED DOCS, and SHARED PHOTOS. A "Homeowner sees" preview shows which reports are visible on their side.

§Rotate the link

If a link was forwarded to the wrong person or you want to cut off access, press ↻ REGENERATE. It asks you to confirm, then issues a fresh URL.
